2018: Honorable Minister Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil flagged off the event start from Mantralaya on 18 November 2018 @ 8 am – post which all the 503 different locations across Maharashtra started the 2 km Maha Walk simultaneously creating a Record!
MahaWalkathon 2018 witnessed a massive 5,07,367 (Five Lakh Seven Thousand Three Hundred and Sixty Seven) participants.

The Mahawalkathon 2018, was a very large format event where over 500,000 people participated across over 500 locations on the same day same time.
An event of this magnitude was possible only due to the strong support of leaders across the state of Maharashtra.
These leaders strived to garner support from the local communities especially students and institutions in their geography and ensured the mega success of the event.
These leaders had a single agenda; to promote and spread knowledge on the causes Mahawalkathon 2018 supported.
